Client owned a convenience store and was an authorized New York State Lottery agent. Client’s husband illegally stole $70,000 from the lottery account. Facing revocation of her lottery license and civil penalties and interest from the NYS Lottery commission and Office of the Attorney General, Client retained Bijal Jani, Esq. Ms. Jani successfully negotiated a lump sum settlement saving the Client over $20,000 and had all the other claims against Client dismissed.

Client wanted to purchase a restaurant in upstate New York which would be profitable only if the revoked beer license could be reinstated.
